At the Bastidien nursing home (Résidence Rouanet-Iché) we celebrated Christmas and New Years with dignity in a very warm atmosphere. From the beginning of December, residents and staff began decorating in all common areas from the entrance to the establishment: it was also an opportunity to remember the Christmases of yesteryear and the carols who accompanied them, taken up in chorus.
The residents also made all the decorations that adorned the tables for the holiday meals and had a lot of fun doing it. Thanks to the municipality which provided the minibus with driver, a group of residents visited the santon exhibition presented at the Halle de Mazamet, a very popular visit.
In the kitchen, Philippe Marino and his team pulled out all the stops and offered residents delicious festive dishes that everyone enjoyed. New Year’s Eve parties were even organized on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, as warm as they could be. And the activities followed one another during this period, songs, lotto, etc., beautiful moments shared with the highlight of the two New Year’s Eve evenings where residents and staff celebrated with sweets, bubbles and smiles to celebrate these events with dignity. two special evenings. On New Year’s Eve, the year 2024 ended in good humor and the exchange of wishes for the new year: and 2025 also began with a festive meal and in good humor.
