Are you tired of the good feelings of Christmas and the kindness of New Year’s wishes? The antidote, “The Island”, arrives at the right time on M6. This Tuesday, from 9:10 p.m., the channel is resurrecting its concept of castaways on a desert island of which it broadcast four seasons between 2014 and 2018.
“It was the right time to relaunch this show,” said Jean-Louis Blot, the president of Endemol who produced these new episodes. It’s a very authentic, very true program, we find ourselves in a very difficult configuration, where we don’t cheat. Until now, we stayed in the mangrove, in not very pretty places. There, we wanted a place that looked like paradise, a postcard setting, with white sand and palm trees…”
