After BZ 2K20, it’s time for BZ 2K24, a new rap title and a clip from BZI artists which, as always, puts Béziers in the spotlight.
Lovers of rap, and, beyond that, of urban and current “biterro-biterrois” music, should appreciate this new title where six of the various artists who are members of the association “Béziers zone of influence” (BZI) express themselves. ).
Four years after BZ 2K20, a rather “ego trip” piece by six BZI rappers, the new song, BZ 2K24, this time brings together Vinir (the president), Radj, Darsa, Crunk and CEF for the vocals, and Radjlion Beats for instrumental production. The clip was shot in Béziers, in the Cathartic studio (boulevard de la Liberté) by Seydou The Giant, with MP Records films, a young adopted Biterrois who is very comfortable behind the camera.
BZI, to develop and promote the creation of urban music by artists from Béziers
As a reminder, BZI, created in 2012, works with three main objectives: to encourage artistic development and promotion by offering urban artists prospects for development; transmit civic values through musical writing; organize events.
The latest, the All School evening on December 14, which was held at the local association “L’Assos en Boîte”, in Argeliers, in Aude. Various artists, from the collective and elsewhere, all from Hérault, performed there: Vinir, Radj, Darsa, CEF, KLG, Crunk, Radikal Sound, Double One, Dasky Ice and Drako. We were even able to see the Béziers comedian Kal El there.
The desire to share
More structured, less free style than its predecessor, the title BZ 2K24, as always, talks about Béziers, about this urban life that only rappers and their loved ones know, but which they willingly share with their audience and other urban music lovers . “This creative work is part of the main objective of our BZI association, which is to bring together the creative powers around Béziers”précis Friends.
This piece therefore highlights part of the culture and life of Béziers, the perception that their different artists have of it, “It reflects our commitment to our community.”
For 2025, the musicians and singers of BZI are preparing, alone or collectively, various titles or EPs, in particular a BZ 2K25. Vinir, for his part, has embarked on a major project: a compilation of a choice of around twenty titles (rap, ragga, urban pop, RnB, etc.) produced by singers, composers, beatmakers, etc. only from Hérault.
