Arte makes no mistake. In this period of New Year’s Eve and post-New Year’s Eve, the Franco-German channel is offering a double ration of series derived from copious works by the novelist who died in 1870. There is the triptych adapting Great expectationsand, recently, the platform added Little Dorritwhich already dates from 2008 but had still not been shown in French-speaking countries. It is due to the veteran Andrew Davies, author of Journal of Bridget Jones et numerous adaptations (including the series House of Cards original).
