The Star Academy final will be held on January 25, but upon hearing the name of the big winner, the pressure is on for the 5 candidates still in the running.
The principal and teachers made things more complicated this week. To decide between them, they decided to nominate 4 candidates and give immunity to only one of them, thus allowing him to go directly to the semi-final. To do this, each discipline taught at the castle was the subject of a test for the candidates, the worst performer of which found himself directly nominated.
Ulysses, the first nominee of the week
The first test was that of dance this Tuesday and it was Ulysse from Marseille who unfortunately did not succeed in convincing his teachers. He is therefore nominated for the 7th time since the start of the season.
On Wednesday, the theater test put an end to Charles’ hopes. The top two nominees of the week then met to discuss their nomination. A sequence during which we could see a jaded Ulysses, but he has not lost his humor.
“You have a lot of hopes, and you are often disappointed”
When Charles expressed his annoyance about his appointment, Ulysses replied ironically: “It’s okay brother, it’s going to be the seventh for me. In fact, I tell myself that supporting Ulysse is a bit like supporting OM after all.“
And to explain his comparison to a rather confused Charles: “You have high hopes, and you are often disappointed. (…) The supporters, they are better than the players on the pitch, you see, it’s the same…“. This parallel should echo in the heads of many of his Marseille fans.
Ebony on her way to the semi-final
The four students who will be put to the public vote on the bonus this Saturday, January 4 will be Ulysse, Charles, Franck and Marine. It was Ebony who stood out during the singing test and thus won her place for the semi-final.
