Nine months after the controversy which completely ruined his career, Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge makes his return in an advertisement for Meubles RD.

The 48-year-old fallen actor and presenter appears there in the company of comedian Jérémy Demay, the brand’s long-time spokesperson.
“As you know, Meubles RD, they really cut corners to offer you the best prices. “The only artist I could invite for the end of the year is someone who is really, really, not expensive,” says Jérémy Demay at the opening of the ad, before the camera moves to film Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge.

A way of making fun of the slump he has been going through since the publication last March of a controversial video that many interpreted as a racist joke. Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge apologized afterwards, ensuring that he had not seen that an insult towards black people, to which he seemed to refer in his video, was engraved on the tree behind him.
