This Friday, December 27, Benoît put his title back into play in Don’t forget the lyrics. The candidate returned with 40 victories and no less than 276,000 euros in winnings. He managed to win two new victories with just as much brilliance despite two determined candidates like Flavien in particular who had learned 300 songs before participating in Nagui’s musical game on France 2. At the end of his two face to face with the challengers , Benoît therefore won two new victories and even managed to go flawless during the last stage this evening by winning 20,000 euros during the final event. The champion exchanged a few words about this feat which will allow him to now approach his daily life in a more serene manner.
You reached 301,000 euros this evening in Don’t forget the lyrics. Is there a crazy project you would like to do?
Benoît: Honestly, the craziest project I have isn’t going to be very fun (laughs). It’s just making myself comfortable in life with this talent. And that, for me, is really crazy, because I know to what extent this is not the case for everyone. It’s a comfort and that’s really the craziest thing in my eyes, because I know I’ll never struggle again. There’s a good chance, anyway, if I do things intelligently. I have lots of little projects, as I said last time, with traveling because I need that. I will continue to live completely economically. I definitely don’t want to change who I am.
Being a freelance photographer and traveling was complicated, wasn’t it?
Even when I travel, I work since my job is a bit of a passion and I can take it everywhere, it’s never useless (laughs). Until then, when I was traveling, I had this worry, indeed, because for the photos to be profitable behind, there is a lot of work to be done when I get back… If I already have no more money, It’s going to be very complicated (laughs), whereas now, I won’t ask myself that question anymore and that’s so good. Photography, I will never let go of it in my life because I love it so much. But I know that in the future, now, I will be able to do photography, music and that I will make a living from it peacefully. It’s really thanks to the money from Don’t forget the lyrics since I certainly would never have been able to have so much freedom, financially speaking, before.
