King Charles III spoke during the traditional Christmas address on December 25 in a pre-recorded message in a former hospital chapel in London. He thus paid tribute to the medical staff. But he also took the opportunity to make, once again, reference to his daughter-in-law Kate Middleton.
The King of England thus sent “special and sincere thanks to the dedicated doctors and nursing staff who, this year, have supported me and other members of my family in the uncertainties and anxieties linked to the illness, and gave us the strength, care and comfort we needed,” referring to the Princess of Wales, who was also affected by cancer this year.
