Julian Cavaillé, alias Cavartis an emerging artist who has made a name for himself in record time thanks to his giant sneaker sculptures. Originally from Nîmes, he began his artistic career a little over a year ago, propelled by social networks. In a conversation with Grégory Ascher, Julian shares his atypical journey, from fitness trainer to recognized artist.
It was in a luxury hotel that one of his works was exhibited, attracting the attention of celebrities like Conor Callagher. Julian explains that his artistic adventure began with a simple desire for personal decoration, before becoming a passion shared by a wide audience. His videos on TikTok quickly captured attention, turning his hobby into a thriving career.
Julian has harnessed his passion for sneakers, which he has collected since childhood, to create unique works of art. His sculptures, measuring up to 130 centimeters, are made with extreme precision, each piece being painted by hand. His work has even attracted the attention of iconic figures like Zinedine Zidane, for whom he created a gold leaf sculpture.
