Immersion au Far West
As written: “The iconic Big Thunder Mountain attraction will be temporarily closed to the public for renovations until early summer 2025.” According to the park's communication, numerous teams are already hard at work on this renovation project. The issue being “to maintain a strong immersion in the atmosphere of the Wild West” and therefore to guarantee future attendance once the attraction reopens.
The renovation project primarily aims to replace the wooden structures of the mine train. The tower and the animal representations will also be restored. The Walt Disney Imagineering teams are on the project, but not only that. The Central Workshops will also be involved in the restoration and manufacturing of new elements.
