This artist, who knew how to instill her passion through numerous local exhibitionseven had the opportunity to show his work as far away as Ireland.
Many inspirations
His artistic journey began in Beaux-Arts from Caen, where she studied from 1995 to 1999.
You have to work a lot to find your style.
Over years of work and exhibitions, she refines her style with seriousness and passion. Annick Garnier's favorite themes include landscapes and silhouettes of womenwhich she explores in a figurative and colorful style.
To the retirementshe decided to devote herself fully to her passion, thus becoming a professional artist exhibiting in various galleries.
His inspirations range from great masters such as Chagall, Modigliani and Monet, who influence both his silhouettes and his flowery landscapes. “The emotions of my daily life inspire me,” she confides.
His work is characterized by a figurative style naive, tinged with expressionist influences, particularly in his landscapes.
Color plays a central role in his art
She sometimes begins her paintings with touches of color, and then lets herself be led by her emotions. The choice of his tools also inspires his painting. Annick Garnier “tells her stories”, translating the emotions of the moment.
Outdoor natural landscapes are a great source of inspiration for her.
I like working outside, I make canvases that can go up to 1.50 m.
It is through a colorful and luminous prism that Annick Garnier transports us into her world. An artist who knows how to capture and share her emotions through painting.
In parallel with this exhibition at the media library, another exhibition will begin at the women's gallery in Caen.
