The Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), through its Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS) and in partnership with Human Energy, organized the second edition of the N2 conference. This event, which was held from December 16 to 18 on the Benguerir campus, brought together researchers, practitioners and experts around the theme: “The Noosphere and the Global South”.
The conference explored the role of the global collective consciousness, or noosphere, in solving contemporary challenges, with a particular focus on the Global South. With a hybrid format, it brought together 33 speakers from various disciplines, aiming to engage a large and varied audience.
Organized in collaboration with renowned partners, such as the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University, Saint Mary’s College of California, the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, the International Humanistic Management Association, ProSocial World and the Center for Christogenesis, this edition covered key topics including:
- The Global South and the Noosphere : opportunities and challenges.
- Synergy and sustainability : towards a balanced noosphere.
- Science, spirituality and technology : convergence for a common future.
- Leadership and youth : engagement of new generations in the noosphere.
Morocco, at the crossroads between Africa, Europe and the Middle East, offered a relevant framework for these discussions. The country’s development strategies and UM6P’s commitment to research, innovation and entrepreneurship served as a basis for addressing transitions in the scientific, technological and societal fields.
Finally, two questions guided the conference’s reflections: “Why are we here? » and “What do we stand for?” “. The first question examined the importance of the event’s location and its implications for the global community, while the second invited participants to reflect on shared values and constructive pathways to contemporary challenges.
