This year, the Kardashians plan to organize a more discreet New Year’s Eve than what they are used to. Matriarch Kris Jenner started this tradition in 1987 at her home, but in recent years, her daughters Kourtney and Kim have hosted it at their home.
Kim explained that the gathering would be a little more intimate this year due to the work being done on their properties.
Speaking to Vogue, Kim said: “Just because we have a lot of work going on, so we’re going to have a very intimate evening for the family and I’m really looking forward to doing that.”
However, that won’t stop the family from dressing up.
Kim added: “I always dress the right way, because that’s what we always do.”
The Skims founder — who has North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5, with ex-husband Kanye West — says her family’s parties are so legendary that even friends of their children would like to be able to attend, and she is committed to continuing this tradition.
She adds: “They are just getting started. Our kids love them and now all their friends want to come. It’s such a fun tradition.”
