The Tuberculture association, which works for cultural development in rural areas in the commune of Chanteix in Corrèze, offers to contribute to the establishment of a unique, preserved and environmentally friendly place, by adopting square meters of its “open-air zenith”. A plot of land of more than 8,000 m² which hosts the “aux champs” festival every summer. More than 200 adopters have already participated in the project, and the adventure continues.

Bruno has just given himself a great gift: he has just adopted 60 m2 field on the festival site. “There you go, we are on my own little square meters. They are I don’t know exactly where, but they are there“, he laughs in the middle of the plot which hosts the field festival every year.

Five euros per m2 tax-exempt at 66%, it’s a small investment, for a big crush:“Imagine a huge stage, full of people, light and a magnificent setting“, he enthuses.
Launched two years ago, this adoption campaign allowed the birth of a unique concert hall: 8,000m2 under the stars.
“Before, it was in the village, in the town, it was much smaller and we were under marquees. But here, we don’t need to rent, this land is ours“, welcomesMargaret Eyres, co-adoption of the festival in the fields, with a ‘so British’ accent.
Created in 1973, l’association Tuberculture gave birth to the festival in the fields in 1987. Its operation “I adopt m2″ has attracted more than 200 adopters to date, and has enabled it to bring together 20,000 euros. Today she dreams of doubling the stake.“The idea if we continue this operation is that we can adopt the almost 4,000 m2 remaining. This will allow us to continue the developments. We try to make the site as pretty as possible and as pleasant as possible for the public and for the artists.”explains the president of the Tuberculture association Jean-François Poumier.
Enchanted by Sylvie’s approach, a former resident comes today to write a check for €100, and in turn adopt a piece of the open-air Zénith de Chanteix. A way for her to support culture in rural areas. “This festival is super cool, if lots of people could adopt square meters, it would be great to continue this beautiful project“, she said with a big smile.
This December 16, the festival announced the name of the first artist in the program for its 2025 edition: it is Véronique Sanson who will thrill the spectators, under the stars of Chanteix.
