The next San Engine race will be directly in America – Trot

San Motor’s entourage has made its decision: instead of participating in the Färjestad race scheduled for January 4, the Swedish champion will go directly to the Prix d’Amérique (Gr. I), which will take place on January 26 in Vincennes. .

(Zone-turf.fr) – After his very good victory on December 14 in Åby, his entourage opted for a preparation which will leave him sidelined from the competition for around a month and a half before racing in America at the end of January. A formula which seems to work since four weeks had passed between his performance in the Prix de Bretagne (Gr. II) where he took second place behind Hussard du Landret and his last victorious outing at Aby. The program provides for an arrival in Paris approximately five weeks before the deadline to finalize its preparation. This decision was made after extensive discussions between the trainer and his driver Björn Goop, who deemed this plan more suited to the horse’s needs. Note that during its last appearance, San Engine tested a Finntack sulky recently approved for Vincennes, adding a new dimension to its preparation for the Prix d’Amérique.
