Wolverhampton City Council will examine the proposal which aims to pay tribute to the Briton, who died on October 16 after falling from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires.

Liam Payne, ex-member of the British boy band who fell to his death from the third floor of his hotel room in Buenos Aires on October 16, could have his own memorial in his hometown of Wolverhampton (West Midlands), according to local councilor Stephen Simkins.
« It is only right that we recognize every son and daughter who has brought glory and pride to Wolverhampton “, he said. Before specifying that this wish would only be granted if the family of the deceased gave their consent.
