It’s the topic of the moment that’s annoying. In the television sector, the announced disappearance of C8 and NRJ 12 on February 28 has given rise to intense lobbying by TV channels in recent weeks. Some push their pawns to recover one of these two precious numbers. The others are maneuvering to encourage the grouping of news channels within the same bloc. Still others are campaigning for nothing to change.
On Wednesday, the sensitive issue of overhauling the numbering on TNT further stirred up the debates on 31e NPA conference. Invited to speak on the subject, the two new entrants, OFTV, the channel of the Ouest-France group, and Réels TV, that of the Czech businessman Daniel Kretinsky, took no detours. They immediately claimed to “ be as high as possible in the numbering, in 8 and 12 or, in any case, in the first half of the numbering », indicated Fabrice Bakhouche, CEO of Sipa Ouest-France.
