It is under the leadership of the Théza library and its attendant Marie-Laure Caragol that the 1st book and honey fair will be held Saturday November 30 from 2 p.m. at the multipurpose room, route de Corneilla.
During this end-of-year period, the book and honey fair is an opportunity to treat yourself but also to offer dreams and flavors. With more than twenty-five authors from the Circles of Catalan Authors, Editions du Trabucaire and Balzac publishers, there will be something for everyone. Thrillers, novels, science fiction, children’s literature, comics for young people… enough to interest a wide audience. All afternoon, we can meet local beekeepers, discover honey-based cosmetics and games for children on the theme of bees. Conferences will enliven the day: “Beekeeping and agriculture”, A dangerous connection by Benjamin Bathefield or even Mother’s Child by Bernard Revel. The Roussillon Beekeeping Union will lead a workshop discovering a hive and Fabienne Lavinal a workshop around gingerbread. Marie-Laure will host the reading corner around kamishibaï tales and Loïc Robinot will present the book Blue and blues in song. A great event which should be part of the municipality’s cultural programming in the years to come.
