Model Jenn An accuses the controversial American rapper, who now goes by the name Ye, of strangling and sexually assaulting her during a Music video shoot in 2010.
Kanye West, already at the heart of the turmoil for his anti-Semitic diatribes and several complaints of sexual assault, is today the target of a new case. The man nicknamed “Ye” is accused of sexually assaulting and strangling actress and model Jenn An during the filming of a music video at the Chelsea Hotel in New York in 2010. According to the American channel NBC, which had access to the document, a complaint against the rapper was filed this Friday, November 22 in the federal court of the Southern District of New York.
In her complaint, Jenn An explains that she, like all the other models present that day, was forced to “line up in the hallway” so that Ye “evaluates his appearance” and choose “elected”. The singer then allegedly pointed the finger at him, saying: “Give me the Asian girl.” After joining him in a suite, Kanye West then allegedly started strangling Jenn An “with one hand”, Then “with both hands”. The rapper “then shoved several fingers down her throat, pumped them in and out continuously, and gagged her to simulate forced fellatio,” informs the complaint revealed by NBC. “It’s art. It's crap art. I'm like Picasso, Ye would have launched.
The model also claims to have had to “struggle to breathe” and felt “the feeling of having temporarily vanished”. Jenn An, who said she wanted “holding abusers accountable through the justice system,” also accuses the Universal Music Group label of not having conducted an investigation into the facts mentioned. The group has not yet reacted.
The New York City Police Department said it was taking “cases of sexual assault and rape very seriously and urges any victim to file a complaint with the police in order to [qu’il puisse] conduct a thorough investigation and provide support and services to survivors,” reports NBC.
Already targeted since last June by a complaint for “sexual harassment”, “breach of contract” et “unfair dismissal”, Kanye West was accused of sexual assault by his former chief of staff, Lauren Pisciotta, last October. In November, another complaint was filed against him by a former employee, this time concerning anti-Semitic comments.
