3,800 seats, all taken by storm: the Slimane concert is sold out, this Saturday, November 23, 2024, in the evening, at the Arena. It was complete before the legal storm which began to descend on the artist at the end of October. A preliminary investigation for aggravated sexual harassment was then opened against him. It followed the complaint of a former technician from the “Cupidon Tour”, the singer's tour which began in November 2023, for facts which allegedly occurred the following month on the sidelines of a concert in Saint-Étienne.

A second complaint, this time for sexual assault, has since been filed by another technician. Then, on Friday, Mediapart produced two new testimonies from two young men claiming to have received photos of a sexual nature from the singer, in 2019 and 2021, without ever having consented to these sendings.

From Coutances to Landerneau, same support

This Saturday, in , no collective denouncing sexual violence showed up before the doors opened to disrupt the concert. As for the first fans in the line to access the venue, they had reserved their place a long time ago but would have come no matter what.

“The artist remains the artist. The rest is his personal life and he has the right to the presumption of innocence like everyone else,” said Aline and her daughter Azilis, who came from Landerneau. Sandra did not hesitate to drive four hours from Coutances, in Manche (50), to please Ophélie, her 9-year-old daughter, who wrote “Slimane, I love you” on his left hand. “For us, he’s the best singer. Being there tonight is our way of showing our support.”
