She will represent Normandy during the Miss France election in December: Manchoise Lucile Lecellier was elected Miss Normandy 2024 this Saturday June 29. The Normandy ceremony was held in Alençon (Orne), at the Anova exhibition center, full of supporters.
Originally from Sainte-Cécile, near Villedieu-les-Poêles, the young woman has just completed her training as a specialist educator and would like to work in child protection. “I had already participated in the competition in 2021, without much conviction, just to discover, she confides. Finally, I managed to be first runner-up. I said to myself: “why not try again a few years later, after I have matured?” And now it is happening! It is a great experience to live.

“The competition is evolving”
When she first introduced herself, she was 24 years old. “That was the age limit, but they took it away, so I was able to run.” According to her, “The competition is changing. The only criteria now are to be 18 years old and to be at least 1.70 m tall. I participated in the casting with a woman who was 35 years old and who loved what she was doing. I am happy with the change in criteria. Society is changing and so is the competition.”
Lucile Lecellier was crowned by Ève Gilles, Miss France 2024, and her sash was presented to her by Norman Amandine Petit, Miss France 2021. She succeeds Wissem Morel. “I don’t realize at all that I am Miss Normandie! she slips. When I wake up tomorrow morning, I will realize…”
The first runner-up is Juliette Lemeltier, 22, from Bretteville-sur-Odon (Calvados). Next come Chloé Levallois, 24, from La Bloutière (Manche); Lilou Buczyk, 22, from Cormelles-le-Royal (Calvados), and Emma Parey, 21, from Honfleur (Calvados).
