Garorock 2024: three slaps received during Friday evening

You had to be in Marmande (Lot-et-Garonne) this Friday, June 28, 2024. More precisely in Garorock, so as not to miss the second evening of a festival that is once again XXL this year.

Three moments marked the night for a large majority of festival-goers. We couldn’t miss them.

Mass Hysteria Calls for Revolution in France

First it’s the metal band Mass Hysteria who made a name for himself on the Wonderland Stage. Through the voice of its singer, Mouss Kelai, the group wanted to send a political messagea few hours after that of Shaka Ponk.

“The extreme left, the extreme center and the extreme right, it’s all the same lemonade, it’s the same shit. They all eat from the same bowl“, commented the leader of the group, before going much further in his remarks: ” There’s no point in voting. A radical position but which did not dampen the enthusiasm of the festival-goers.

PLK, star of the evening

Most of the “Garorockeurs” and “Garorockeuses” were eagerly awaiting it this Friday evening. On the Garonne Stage, PLK turned the festival upside down for more than an hour.

Mathieu Pruski, his real name, performed his biggest hits: “A little hatred”, “Pilot”, “Problems”.

The rapper won over the Lot-et-Garonnais public, whom he twice called “ my Bordeaux people« .

Swedish House Mafia, un final XXL

And finally, it is the Swedish group Swedish House Mafia who made the Filhole stage vibrate.

Until 3 a.m., the three friends from Stockholm played their biggest songs with millions of views on YouTube.

We think of “Save The World” or “Don’t You Worry Child” for example. Exceptional. A concert marked by a beautiful fireworks display. Everyone is now impatiently waiting for Saturday evening!
