Recently, actor Christian Clavier decided to flee the capital to settle with our Belgian neighbors, more precisely in Brussels. During the filming of the film “Never without my therapist” which will be released on December 11, where he shares the bill with Baptiste Lecaplain, Christian Clavier was able to play a few scenes very close to home, on Place Poelaert and Avenue Louise.
“A contact between people that doesn’t exist in Paris”
For the occasion, the septuagenarian known for his roles in Les Bronzés, Santa Claus is a piece of trash, and Les Visiteurs, gave an interview to our colleagues at Ciné-Télé Revue. In it he explains that he made the choice to leave France because: “Paris has become unlivable. At your place (in Belgium), the atmosphere is more friendly and international. This is what I liked in London, where I also lived, until Brexit.”
Previously, at the microphone of SoirMag, the actor had already been complimentary about Belgium “I like the mentality, the simplicity, the warmth, the good-natured spirit. There remains a contact between people that there is not in Paris, where the relationship with notoriety prevents that“, he explained.
Like him, Michel Blanc and Arthur had also moved to Belgium some time ago.
