“I really liked the Air guitar”

Little Gabin, a CP student in Aigrefeuille-sur-Maine (near Nantes), was already on his little cloud while the long-awaited Aldebert concert had not yet started at the Hellfest Kids this Wednesday, June 26.

The first edition of this mini-Hellfest for children has been all the rage and it’s not because of the high temperatures.

Real metal concert stage

Hundreds of children from Clisson and the surrounding area jumped, sang and danced under the benevolent and amused gaze of their parents and/or carers.

Designed to accommodate a capacity of 3,000 people, the Bellevue site, in Gétigné, not far from the Hellfest site, was transformed into real metal concert stage, worthy of Mainstage or other Warzone.

The makeup-tattoo stand is quickly taken over by children

With all around, a bar, a “merch” stand with t-shirts, books and albums by Aldebert, and a makeup-tattoo stand that is quickly taken over by the children.

This festival, imagined by Ben Barbaud’s team (present for this great first), was dedicated to the 850 CP students from the Clisson urban community. Like little Naomi from Gorges, who came with her big sister Eva and her dad.

“It’s very well organized”

The family couldn’t miss this event: “It’s very well organized, we didn’t have to struggle by car to get to Gétigné,” confides the father. We have the Aldebert CD playing on repeat at home. The girls were delighted when we got the tickets.”

“A good way to discover the world of Hellfest for children”

“It’s a good way to discover the world of Hellfest for children,” says Elouan, who lives in Monnières.

His daughter Léontine, protected from the sun with her cap, likes Aldebert “very much”. “Plus, my little sister has the CD at home.” Alexis, from La Bernardière (in Vendée), highlights “the superb initiative” of Hellfest.

For children, it’s their own Helflest.

The long-awaited Aldebert concert

While the Air guitar competition between children and specialists of the genre such as Medusa, champion of the category at Hellfest in 2023, electrified the public, Antoine and Manon, parents of Gabin, appreciate the moment:

This Hellfest Kids is truly representative of Hellfest. We didn’t expect to see such a big stage, the resources put in place, it’s impressive… And it’s free. We can hardly complain!

A few days before the summer holidays, this Hellfest Kids started strong with the group Smash Hit Combo.

It ended in apotheosis with the concert of the star of recess: Aldebert, who came to play pieces from his latest album “Helldebert – Enfantillages 666”.
