The Oscar contender campaign has officially begun. This Sunday, November 17, in Hollywood, many big screen personalities came to attend the presentation of the first prizes, a few months before the highly anticipated Oscar evening.

Screenwriter Richard Curtis was awarded the Humanitarian Award at this fifteenth edition of the Governors Awards and producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli were awarded the Memorial Award. For the honorary Oscars, the academy chose the late producer Quincy Jones and casting director Juliet Taylor.

Among the spectators, a myriad of renowned actresses and actors such as Jennifer Lawrence, Angelina Jolie, Selena Gomez, Daniel Craig, etc. Several of them found each other after having shared the poster in films and series, notably Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong in “The Apprentice”, Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley in “The Substance” or even Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldana in “Special Operations: Lioness”.
