The sister of King Charles III was hospitalized after being injured at home. She should be restored quickly, according to British media.

Princess Anne, the sister of King Charles III, was hospitalized this Monday, June 24 after being injured at her residence in Gatcombe Park, Buckingham Palace announced in a press release.

The 73-year-old princess suffered “minor injuries and a concussion” after an incident at her home, further specifies this text published by Buckingham Palace.

Sous observation

Anne remains “under observation” at Southmead Hospital in Bristol “as a precautionary measure”. “The King is following the matter carefully,” according to Buckingham. “The royal family sends her love and good wishes for a speedy recovery.”

The cause of the injury has not been confirmed but according to the BBC Princess Anne was injured during an incident with a horse. She was supposed to go to Canada this weekend for a visit. It is still unknown whether this is maintained.

Princess Anne is often referred to as the “hardest working” member due to the number of engagements she attends in a year. In 2022, she topped the list with 214 commitments made, compared to 181 for her brother Charles.
