Small program to end the month of June from Netflix, with a handful of additions to its catalogs of films and series, including the reunion of Zac Efron and Nicole Kidman for a romantic comedy, as well as the attractive Korean mini-series unpublished “Déferlante”.

More than ten years after sharing the poster for Paperboyin competition at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, Zac Efron and Nicole Kidman meet up for a romantic comedy Netflix original. Directed by Richard LaGravenese, screenwriter notably of On the road to Madison and director of The Last Five Years, The Underside of the Family tells the story of Zara (Joey King), assistant to movie star Chris Cole (Zac Efron) who discovers that he is having a secret relationship with his mother Brooke (Nicole Kidman). A talented cast that could well make this film, available from June 28the romantic hit of summer.

Romantic genre still but in a much more dramatic register with Japanese drama The Sketch of our livesposted online on June 27 and which plays everything on emotion with Akito’s story. A young boy who, with only a year left to live, finds meaning in his existence by spending time with a young girl who is terminally ill and who has only six months left…

Netflix: new series released online from June 24 to 30

On the series side, not much to get your teeth into before July, except the police mini-series Breaking, which promises to be a very tense thriller in the world of Korean politics. It will be available on the platform from June 28.

A conflict breaks out between the Deputy Prime Minister in charge of the economy and the Prime Minister when the latter intends to attack the corruption that is rife within the government. The day the President is targeted by an assassination attempt, the power struggle dangerously escalates.

Another new series to discover, the British SupraCellwhose pitch distantly evokes Misfits, with its five ordinary Londoners who discover superpowers. A Netflix original series to discover from June 27.
