House of the Dragon: the phenomenon series is finally out, here’s how to watch it

You were waiting for it, it has finally arrived. The House of the Dragon series made its comeback on Prime Video with a very promising second season. After a finale as epic as it is tragic, the HBO series offers a first episode which is already attracting criticism. Entitled “A Son for a Son”, it continues the story of House Targaryen whose agreement seems definitively broken. This new part promises, once again, many twists and turns between the different camps determined to confront each other. As usual, the production company HBO plans to broadcast the sequel every week via its new VOD Max platform. French residents can watch it with their Prime Video account to which they will need to add a pass subscription at 5.99 euros per month. Discover, now, the continuation of the House of the Dragon series on Max.

House of the Dragon: return of the event series on Max

A prequel to Game of Thrones, the House of the Dragon series takes place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. You will therefore not see Daenerys, but rather her lineage in the grip of a blood war. Season 1 tells the story of King Viserys and his children Rhaenyra and Daemon, both determined to succeed him. Between political conflicts and bloody scenes, the series lifts the veil on the reasons which led to the loss of the dragons as well as the fall of the Targaryen dynasty. With a most tragic final episode, the sequel portends serious consequences. Expect to discover new places and new characters in this season 2 which is already shaping up to be epic. House of the Dragon is an uncompromising binge-watch on Prime Video, which offers a free trial to its new customers.
