On the program for this Music Festival 2024 in Cherbourg (Manche): jazz, electro, rock, variety… and more than 40 artists !

There will be something for everyone. We detail everything for you.

A varied program…

1 – Scene from the Central Square

Organized with the Drifter, the Vice City with the Rade in Binch. The first part of the evening will be dedicated to rap with Terminal Session #12, organized by the Terminal Ouest association.

Followed by a Circuit program around rock groups and electro music. The Killukrew collective, programmed by the Rade bar in Binch, which will have a stand, will close the evening. Free. from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

2 – Square Phélippot Le Cat : the Harmonia and Gaviota Vocal Ensemble, made up of 85 choristers, will offer an eclectic repertoire, composed from contemporary French-speaking songs. Free. From 7 to 9 p.m.

3 – Delegated town hall of Cherbourg-Octeville, Place de la République : the Cherbourg-en-Cotentin Music Conservatory will give its concert in the main halls of the town hall.

You will be able to discover a guitar ensemble, an orchestra of small strings, an ensemble of violins, a duo and an ensemble of cellos, an ensemble of saxophones, a duo of saxophones and cellos, a junior wind orchestra, and an ensemble of flutes. Free. 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

4 – Trinity Basilica : like every year, the musical association Friends of the Organ of the Trinity will play its organ recitals. Jean-Philippe Mauger will be on the keyboard, bringing out classical works by Bach, Pachelbel and Böhm. Free. At 18 hours.

5 – Trinity car park : the Musical Fire Addicts association will highlight Jamaican music for this lively evening. Free. From 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

6 – Napoleon skatepark and parking lot : Two associations, OSC Audio and Deglingotek, will be there. Electro music on the program. Free. From 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

7 – Rue des Fosses : the La Sauce elek’tric association will offer punk concerts. We will find Bras Cassés, from Vire, and The Little Birds, from Caen.

8 – Place de Gaulle : the Phase Impact association, with the Hope Club nightclub, will offer a stage with a concert for young audiences carried by Mr Ribouldingue.

Acoustic rock duo Two Deep will continue the evening. Concerts which will alternate with the musical programming of the Hope Club, including a DJ set at the end of the evening. Free. From 7 p.m. to midnight.

  • 7 to 8 p.m. : Mr Ribouldingue
  • 8 to 9 p.m. : DJ Hope Club
  • 9 to 10 p.m.: Two Deep
  • 10 p.m. to midnight : DJ Hope Club

9 – The Post Office : on one of the city’s stages, rue Vatel, two workshops: one for rock, the other for jazz. The Conservatory will also invite the Millet high school to a concert.

Then, you can discover the program of three groups, organized by the Beerz bar. Free. From 7 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

  • 19 hours : Rock workshop
  • 7:50 p.m. : The Conservatory invites the Millet high school
  • 8:30 p.m. : Jazz workshop
  • 9:30 p.m. :Sokken
  • 10:30 p.m.: Fun’Kiss
  • 11:30 p.m. : Diphasic

10 – Place Jean-Hébert (esplanade des Eléis) : departure from the Pagomélé association, for a stroll through the city to the sound of samba. At 8:30 p.m., the Brazilian percussion associations Bahiamélé and Pomélé will entertain young and old, in front of the Monkey cellar from 8:30 p.m. Free. From 7 p.m.

Public garden : the members of Estivales de la Montagne will organize the show “Tous à la plage” produced by the Bretelles et company group, for children. Tata Clownette and her team will also be there to brighten up the evening. Refreshment bar and snack bar on site. For children, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

11 – The Drifter, the Vice City with the Harbor in Binch : entertainment on the central square. See above.

12 – The Scene : the main forum room will invite two groups: Hello Whispers, followed by Lili White and the Raining Souls. From 7:30 p.m. Reservations on 02 33 53 78 75.

13 – The Cartel : in the first part of the evening, the pop-rock group 61/50 will play several covers and rock standards. In the second part of the evening, a DJ will set up, with the program: house, funk and disco. Cocktail bar and beers available. From 6:30 p.m.

14 – The Little Friends : the bar will host the group À fond d’cale, made up of singers, guitars, violin, mandolin, accordion and percussion. A tandem provided by the rock group RAG’N.

15 – Second Culture : the Baila Salsa collective, a Cuban music association, will be in front of the establishment. From 7 p.m.

16 – The Dinette Club : rich programming, starting with Marie Prude, Parisian-Barcelona artist of electronic dark disco. UK-inspired house DJ Blazers will play next. Alongside them, locals Babtwo Threefour will be pumping out indie dance music, and FX Oliveri is set to play something “that should bounce!” » according to the bar. You will be able to discover an “inside/outside” configuration. Responsible street food menu, committed beer from the South Channel. From 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.

17 – The Black Dog Café : the bar will welcome the supercharged duo Lady’Stealer. From 8 p.m.

18 – The Cauldron : you can listen to the music of Jayde, singer-songwriter from Coutances, accompanied by her guitarist. From 8 p.m.

19 – The Tizi Lunch : two rock groups will be in the spotlight, the Pure Blondes, followed by Skoll. From 9 p.m.

20 – Piccadilly : rock artist Picky Balthazar will be present in front of the bar, and will play three sessions of one hour each. From 7 to 9 p.m., you can enjoy the Euro 2024 match, between France and the Netherlands.
