The artists will be in the street at the beginning of July in Porrentruy. The 3rd edition of Sortie de loges will take place at the Faubourg de France on July 6 and 7. Five theater companies will present their show during 16 performances in various locations and at different times. With the partnership of the Six Pompes Summer tour, a street arts festival in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the small association of Friends of the Theater of Porrentruy and surrounding areas manages to set up this event, whose budget amounts to 25 ‘000 francs. A sum that is increasingly difficult to raise, confides treasurer Céline Bédat Heusler.
During the last general meeting, the SAT also decided to scale back its indoor shows: “We have a public that is in high demand between the Théâtre du Jura and the various cultural centers. I think the public has to make a choice. » From 2025-2026, the SAT plans to offer only one indoor show per half-season. Céline Bédat Heusler notes that the association will reposition itself also depending on finances on the street festival “which is a very original production”. “We took this place in the street and then we go out to meet our audience and we offer another way of seeing the theater,” assures Céline Bédat Heusler who is also the manager of Sorties de loges.
