It was the series that catapulted him to global stardom. In 1997, David Boreanaz made his very first appearance in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. With the role of Angel, a dark vampire who falls under the spell of the heroine played by Sarah Michelle Gellar, the actor left his mark on the public. After playing in three seasons and making appearances in the rest of the series, Angel is entitled to his own spin-off, soberly titled Angel, which lasts five seasons. This character has had a lasting impact on the career of the actor, now 55 years old.
