The British chef confided on Instagram that he was the victim of a serious bicycle accident in Connecticut.

In a video, he reveals an impressive hematoma all over his left side.

“Wear a helmet. I don’t care if the journey is short,” he insisted.

He is still in shock. Gordon Ramsay confided on Instagram that he was the victim of a serious bicycle accident in Connecticut, in the United States. “As you know, I love cycling, triathlon and ironman. This week, unfortunately, I had a really bad accident that really shook me up. Honestly, I’m lucky to be there”explained the famous British chef in a video.

“Thank you very much to the doctors and nurses who took care of me. I’m in pain, it was a difficult week, but I will get through it”, declares the presenter known for the shows “Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmare” – from which “Nightmare in the kitchen” is inspired – or even “MasterChef”. “I’m a little bruised, I look like a purple potato”he admits.

Visibly still troubled, Gordon Ramsay wanted to send a message of prevention. “Wear a helmet. I don’t care if the journey is short, or if these helmets are expensive. You have to wear them, especially for children. It’s crucial”concluded the chief, attaching a photo of his broken helmet and his torn cycling outfit.
