all Belgians will finally be able to have free access to it from tomorrow!

It was long awaited. After a launch in France, TF1’s free streaming platform, soberly named “TF1+”, is finally arriving here. From June 18, all Belgians (and Luxembourgers) will be able to watch the programs available on the application, with the exception of live TV channels which will only arrive later.

videos

In the TF1+ catalog, we find “more than 15,000 hours of entertainment and information content” as well as the channel’s flagship shows (“Star Academy”, “Koh-Lanta”, “Quotidien”, “HPI” , ” Sat “…). A youth section will also be available (Oui-Oui, Sunny Bunnies, Barbapapa, Les Schtroumpfs, etc.) as will around fifty FAST channels around strong themes such as romantic comedies, dramas or thrillers.

TF1+ – TF1 Group

The TF1+ application will be available on all mobile platforms (Android and iOS), computer and also on Smart TVs (Google TV, TV under Android TV, Samsung, LG, Hisense, Sony, Philips, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, etc. ). If viewers can enjoy it “for free”, the private French channel will also offer a Premium offer allowing them to view all content without advertisements. Count 5.99 euros per month or 59.99 euros per year for this plan.

A little extra

To attract people to its platform, TF1 is banking on an innovative feature that streaming giants, like Netflix – on which you will no longer find Friends – or Disney+, do not have. This is called “Synchro” and allows, using an algorithm, to have a recommendation engine which allows you to immediately find the right content to watch with your children, between children, as a couple or even between friends. And thus avoid wasting time looking for THE program to watch. The group insists: this is a “pioneering” option in the sector.

Let us also add that content exclusive to the platform will be available, such as TOP INFO. These are 5 daily formats of 3 to 6 minutes produced by the editorial staff and providing in-depth insight into the main news of the day. The platform will also have extended rights with content available for a minimum of 30 days and up to 48 months.
