Phoebe Dynevor starred in the first season of this hit series, broadcast in December 2020, and played a less important role in the second season, broadcast in March 2022. However, she refused to return for the third season of this same year in order to pursue other projects, such as the film Fair Play in 2023.

“I think when you’re drawn to a storyline, like I was with Fair Play, you have this moment where you say to yourself: “This is my next job”. And it was really exciting,” Phoebe Dynevor said in a recent interview with British Vogue.

“Yes, it was very different from Bridgerton, but the storyline and the character of Emily meant a lot to me,” the 29-year-old continued. “It was like a mixture of all the things I had come to do in the industry.”

The actress added that she was “very proud” of the audience’s response to the suspense and mystery film.

“Seeing people’s reaction… it’s a very special moment in my career that I’m very proud of,” she said.

Since she left The Bridgerton ChroniclesPhoebe Dynevor also filmed the thriller films Anniversary And Inheritance.
