ParisTurf: You had the choice between Halfday And Adventure in this 2024 Prix de Diane. Why did you choose Christophe Ferland’s filly?

Maxime Guyon: I’m going up Adventure, because she really did something “something” last at Chantilly, when she won the Prix de Royaumont, and she arrives in great shape before this deadline. I preferred to mount it compared to Halfday, who is doing a short comeback race and who has won on heavy ground. Which will not be the case on Sunday at Chantilly. Adventure showed his ability to succeed on the Cantilienne track.

You inherited the number 10 in the starting stalls. A disadvantage ?

Having shot the 10 in the starting stalls is neither good nor bad. Anything can happen in this kind of racing. You obviously have to count on a certain amount of luck regarding the progress. There are no contraindications. I am calm before departure.

How do you see this edition?

The race is open, without one filly standing out more than another unlike in other years. The course and the shape of the moment will weigh in the balance. It’s not easy to predict the winner. Adventure remains on an easy victory and Christophe Ferland strived to maintain the physical condition of the filly two weeks from Group I.
