Grammy: Beyoncé dominates nominations and becomes the most nominated artist

With her 11 nominations announced Friday, the American diva has obtained a total of 99 mentions in her career.

“Cowboy Carter” is up for album and country album of the year, and “Texas Hold ‘Em” is nominated for recording, song and country song of the year. She has also received nominations across a wide range of genres, including pop, country, Americana and melodic rap performance.

This is the first time she has received nominations in the country and Americana categories.

If Beyoncé wins the Grammy for album of the year, she will become the first black woman to do so in the 21st century. Lauryn Hill last won the Grammy in 1999 for “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill,” joining Natalie Cole and Whitney Houston as the only black women to win the Grammy’s most prestigious award.

Post Malone also received his first nominations in country categories this year, after releasing his debut country album “F-1 Trillion” in August. He is up for country album and “I Had Some Help,” his collaboration with Morgan Wallen, is nominated for country song and country duo/group performance. These are Wallen’s first Grammy nominations.

Malone is located just behind Beyoncé, with seven nominations, tied with Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and Charli XCX, who earned her first nominations as a solo artist.

The 2025 Grammy Awards Gala will air live on CBS and Paramount+ on February 2 from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
