Implicated since July 2024 by four women who accuse him of rape, Naps broke the silence, Thursday November 7, 2024, via a press release published on facing the trial ordered against him last July by the courts. And takes the opportunity to point out that he is currently busy recording a new album.

The case started on October 1, 2021 with a complaint from a young woman who claimed to have been raped by Naps in her sleep, while she spent the night with him and a friend in a hotel room in . The alleged victim reportedly explained that she was unable to push the rapper away because her limbs were “like paralyzed.” The author of the title “La kiffance” was then indicted and placed under judicial supervision. It is for these facts that the investigating judge rendered a decision last May ordering that Naps be tried before the Paris Departmental Criminal Court.

At the beginning of August 2024, Naps – real name Nabil Boukhobza – was arrested in (south of ) following three other complaints from young women and had to cancel his planned concert at the Fréjus en Live festival. At the end of his police custody, he was indicted for rape and sexual assault. His lawyer said that the singer completely denied all the charges against him.
