the essential
The announcement of the dismissal of Guillaume Meurice was like a thunderclap among our colleagues at Radio France on Tuesday June 11. But the comedian already has a new project: to be recruited by RTL. He was invited, along with Aymeric Lompret, during a column by Alex Vizorek on June 13.

“Excuse me for interrupting you, Mr. Vizorek, I am looking for a new job,” announces Guillaume Meurice, appearing unexpectedly in the RTL studio, interrupting the presenter of the Vizo conference column on Wednesday evening.

On the air: Alex Vizorek, Meurice’s former friend on France Inter, who joined the radio at the previous school year. “Where is Julien Courbet? Because I’m going to need a good lawyer in litigation law,” the comedian pretends to be looking for.

“Freelance in the circumcision of war criminals”

Wishing to put the chances on his side, the author declaims his CV: “I work freelance in the circumcision of war criminals”, evoking his joke repeated twice and which earned him his dismissal from Radio France. Before quickly catching up: “I adapt, I can make right-wing jokes!”

The columnist is almost immediately interrupted in turn by the arrival of Aymeric Lompret: “I love RTL, it’s great, plus I learned that you are looking for people to work with.” The latter, who resigned in solidarity after the dismissal of his colleague, proposes, in a provocative tone: “I have a genius idea. We could do a big show, on Sunday, all together…”
