The first edition of the Occitanie traveling contemporary art festival, imagined by Jihane Khélif, president of Arco, brought together in 2023, 10 artists at the Dominican chapel in Carcassonne. For a first attempt, it was a masterstroke, in fact the second edition can present 40 artists in 10 different locations in Sigean, Bages and Peyriac-de-Mer.
Sunday November 3, meet at 10 a.m. in front of the Salle des Pénitents in Sigean then tour the village towards the castle gallery and the Maison de l’artisan. At 12 p.m., musical aperitif at LAC de Sigean, artistic gesture by Séverine Péron, at 2 p.m., sale of artists’ works at Patricia Stheeman’s workshop space in Peyriac-de-Mer then at 3:30 p.m. meeting at the Latuvu gallery in Bages for a guided tour of the Fiac’Occ exhibitions in the town of Bages (Spescha workshop, Maison des arts, Espace des arts et des lettres) and finally at 6 p.m. at NullepArt (Estarac) for a musical performance by Chatorne (Enna Chaton and Cédric Torne) and to share a friendly drink.
