Rhea Ripley, who had to sit out earlier this year with a shoulder injury, may have to take another forced leave of absence.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson confirms that the segment in which Ripley is seen bleeding in a parking lot Tuesday night in NXT, is indeed to “camouflage” a real injury.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful adds that Ripley suffered head damage, which legitimizes the scans shown by WWE on social media.
Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE was telling the truth about a fractured orbital bone.
This would have happened last week, in a segment with Liv Morgan, on October 21 at RAW.
No details have been given on the length of her recovery, but it is not impossible that Ripley will be out of the ring for a long time.
