The academicians give everything to offer a show that meets the expectations of their audience who followed them behind their small screen for several months. An intense rhythm which tires the young singers who all fall ill one after the other.
”My voice is weakened and the doctors I consulted told me that I absolutely must not sing for the next two days. So, to my great regret, I will not be present on stage this evening and tomorrow evening,” Pierre Garnier indicated to his followers on his Instagram account, before making his return to the Zénith de Caen.

This Sunday, it was the finalist Julien Lieb who was unable to perform on stage and was therefore unable to perform his single “Encore once” as planned, to the great dismay of his fans.
It was therefore without the latter that the academicians sang together the biggest songs performed throughout the Star Academy season: “Shallow”, “Popcorn salé”, “A fleur de toi”, “Dance the night”, “ So that you love me again”… Héléna Bailly and Pierre Garnier also sang a duet on “Shallow”. They also delighted the audience by singing their respective singles.
The group put on the show for 2 hours sharp even if fatigue was somewhat felt in their voices, particularly on the side of Pierre Garnier and Axel.

If no opening act or guests were planned during the academicians’ first concert at the ING Arena, Anisha Jo provided the opening act for the second concert in the evening.
One thing is certain, after this new concert in the country, Héléna with her enchanting voice is “Loved for real” in Belgium. She will have proudly worn the colors of her country, flag on her back (gift from the public) at the end of the concert.
