A new stand

Indeed, the Yainville Museum association will hold a stand at the exhibition and present objects relating to marriage from this era: wedding dresses, bouquets, globes, tableware, etc.

More than 250 photos

The CGPCSM will exhibit more than 250 wedding photos taken between 1897 and 1952 in the region.

This exhibition will allow visitors to recognize and identify ancestors, especially since to facilitate identification, the organizing association has arranged the photos by commune and canton.

Interactivity

To further refine searches, each person present in the wedding photos is numbered and their name indicated next to the photo.

On the other hand, visitors will in turn be able to inform the genealogical circle if they recognize one of their parents not yet identified in a wedding photo and report it using the number.

Exhibition on the theme of wedding photos before 1950, at the André-Bourvil room in Fontaine-le-Dun, Saturday October 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. FREE ENTRANCE.
