On the occasion of the final of the Top Model Europe competition, the 20-year-old Bigourdane took to the stage of the Gymnase theater, parading for several designers. If it was a Norwegian who won this competition, Julie leaves with a contract and “indescribable feelings”.

Tarbaise Julie Gras returned to her art school, after a sumptuous but trying weekend in , for the final of the Top Model Europe international competition. Selected through several stages, she was one of the last thirty to apply for this title this Sunday, at the close of Paris Fashion Week, at the Théâtre du Gymnase. An unforgettable experience which began on Saturday, after rehearsals and fittings, then a first video, with fashion shows for designers. A first day concluded at more than 9 p.m., when the Sunday final, which started at 9 a.m., ended at more than 11:30 p.m. “There is a lot of waiting behind the scenes, for all the preparations. I I was lucky enough to be able to show a total of five times, for three designers (Monika Dimova, Christian Manzala and Jacques Logoh although it was not planned but he insisted that I absolutely wear one of his dresses), but also in the outfit that Jean-Paul Gaultier that we had made with my mother, and for the competition itself.”

“I just want to go back.”

A long day and a first experience at Fashion Week of which the Tarbaise only has good memories, even if the final victory went to a Norwegian model, already published in several magazines including Vogue. “Of the 30 finalists, there were only 5 of us who did not have an agency and I, with my barely three months of experience, was a bit of an odd one out,” admits Julie Gras. But over the course of the shows, , I was happier every time to be in front of everyone. I just wanted to go back. It was a pretty indescribable feeling when I paraded, this feeling that it was my thing. well. And then, I met a lot of people…”

The young woman obtained a six-month contract with Model Europe, for their fifty agencies. Waiting for other opportunities. “I get a lot of feedback.” And added: “It happened a bit like a dream. I almost have the impression that it never happened…”
