Sanvignes – They love the 80s! So here we go

No need to look from noon to two p.m. At the Sanvignes festival committee, we adapt to the wishes of the guests. “They like the 80s,” says the president, Armando De Abreu. So he and his band of volunteers went out of their way to organize an evening on this theme and it worked.

“We limited it to 150 people to leave room for the dancers. The waiting list was long to possibly get a package,” he explains. Two days after reservations were launched, it was already full.

The 80s are obviously the music that makes you want to get up from your chair, sway your hips on the dance floor and sing along to the hits of the time. Some even pushed this need to experience this evening without restraint that they blended into the atmosphere by putting on costumes which aroused general enthusiasm. They are daring, bravo to them.

Also on each table, as if to better find their way or belong to a clan, the festival committee had made a card with the photo of an artist or a group, Mylène Farmer, Daniel Balavoine, Bashung, Johnny obviously, Indochina, Jeanne Mas, Jean-Jacque Goldman… “Where are you? At the Indochina table.”

The holiday committee is already thinking about its trip to Montreux in Switzerland, to the Christmas market, on December 7. “It seems that it is extraordinary,” said the president. Just by word of mouth, “we have 75% of reservations”.
