The players mastered the game and followed the instructions. It may not be pretty rugby, but it is effective and allows us to win. Unfortunately, the three red cards spoil this success a little. Unlike previous matches, Floirac started this one with a bang, attacking Oloron head-on in an effective one-pass game and quickly benefiting from a penalty (3-0, 5th). The melee also dominates his opponent. Arland doubles the lead (6-0, 20th). The blood and gold pack is suffocating the Béarnais. The contact attitudes in the ruck phases are perfect. A long old-fashioned general brawl then follows which spoils the Girondins’ great victory.
