In Fougères, musician Titi Robin reconnects with the “gypsy flavor”

The Juliette-Drouet cultural center, in Fougères agglomeration, is a partner of the Le Grand soufflet festival, at the same time as the cultural center of Couesnon-Marches de Bretagne, the Granjagoul, the Ferme En-champ-tée and the Coquelicot. He will welcome the quartet of Until Robin.

Titi Robin reconnects here with the gypsy flavor and the rhythmic power of his first groups which took him from the Théâtre Antique in Arles to the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, via the Tata Theater in Bombay.

The artist is a virtuoso of bouzouk, guitar and oud. He will be accompanied by Robert Positiona singer and guitarist with whom he began collaborating following the album’s release Gypsies (1993). Titi Robin invited members of the Saadna family, musicians from the Saint-Jacques gypsy district of Perpignan, renowned specialists in Catalan rumba.

Titi will then regularly welcome this guitarist and singer imbued with a strong Mediterranean culture for his other recording projects.

In Fougères, Titi Robin and Roberto Saadna will be surrounded by the faithful Francis Varis on the accordion and Ze Luis Nascimento on percussion.
