Richard Turcotte shared a completely heartbreaking personal story this weekend on social media.
It goes as follows: “ Today I had to travel from Quebec to Montreal and back as an officiant to marry my great boyfriend Philippe Huard to his beautiful Claire. My girlfriend had to wear her pearl necklace for the occasion.
Unfortunately, Claire left us a month ago. She lost her fight against cancer. We know that she is watching us now, with her dad from the tops of her mountains in Switzerland.
Today I brought Phil to Quebec with me for the whole weekend. At 4 p.m. (wedding time) he put his ring on his finger, we gave Claire a cheer. ????????
