The Marrakech Short Film Festival celebrates its 4th anniversary

The event began at 7 p.m. with the arrival of guests on the Berber carpet, bringing together eminent figures from the world of cinema as well as promising young directors. The jury was made up of renowned personalities such as Mayssa Maghrebi, Nour Eddine Lakhmari, Sofia Alaoui, and Nadia Kounda, who highlighted the talents of the young cinematographic generation.

At 8 p.m., the audience had the opportunity to enjoy an eclectic selection of films, including:

“Permission” (Lebanon | 22:52) directed by Abboud Ghina.

“Treasures of the Past” (Qatar | 8:09) directed by Rawan Al-Nassiri and Nada Bediar (special guest).

“A Lamb, A Sheep and Ravens” (Morocco | 17:34) directed by Aymane Hammou (in official competition).

“Les Chenilles” ( – Lebanon | 29:57) directed by Michelle and Noel Keserwany.

The evening ended at 9:30 p.m. with thunderous applause in recognition of the quality and diversity of the works presented. The jury members expressed their admiration for the creativity of the young directors, and the winners will be announced during the closing ceremony of the festival.
