This Tuesday, April 16, subscribers and readers of La Dépêche du Midi will be in the spotlight at the Fair. Entrance will be free upon presentation of their invitation.

Today, all day long, the Toulouse International Fair rolls out the red carpet for subscribers and readers of La Dépêche du Midi. All they have to do is cut out the coupon in the newspaper (page 11, first section) to benefit from free entry. All day long, they will be able to wander the aisles of MEETT, in Aussonne, and win prizes, by drawing lots, from the various games and activities present on the La Dépêche stand, located in Hall 1, opposite the Olympic flame of the Regional Council. In addition to umbrellas, pens, hats, notebooks, beautiful books, etc., they will be able to leave with tickets for Bascala, TFC, Stade Toulousain, rugby, Fenix, a stay for two people in Gruissan.
On site, all the La Dépêche teams will be present to welcome them. There will even be a cartoonist, Boris Lamy, to take their portrait. Midol fans will find the yellow newspaper team.
In Hall 4, where the famous yellow scooter from La Dépêche is parked, other activities await them, notably the Magic window. Among the exceptional prizes to be won, there will be places for the Rose Festival.

The RoseLab at the Green Village

The Toulouse International Fair also has more than 500 exhibitors to discover until April 21. So at the Green Village, located in Hall 6, you will meet creative artisans who practice recycling, upcycling, eco-responsibility, zero waste, second hand… From April 17, the members of the RoseLab will carry out their shared workshop of skills and artisanal and digital tools. “We use laser cutters, digital embroiderers, cutting float plotters, 3 D printers… for the wood Lab as well as for metal, welding, sewing…” explains Allison Magnau.

The aim of this shared manufacturing workshop is to “go from the idea to the object, using the appropriate machines. To do this, we start making prototypes to go on to the mini-series”, adds Clément Manidren . The public will therefore be able to obtain textile patterns, attend wood lathe demonstrations, etc.

Toulouse International Fair, until April 21, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., at MEETT, in Aussonne. Free entry this Tuesday, April 16 for readers of La Dépêche; April 17: for women; Thursday April 18: for over 65s. Late nights until 10 p.m.: April 16 and 19.
