Among the leaders in the digital transformation and technology and engineering services sector, Capgemini is deploying an unprecedented recruitment plan in the metropolis. Recruitments are intended to be as inclusive as possible, particularly towards LGBT+ people.

1,300 positions opening in 2023 in Toulouse, Capgemini is doing even better this year with 1,400 job offers*. In detail, 1,300 positions are being recruited in the form of permanent contracts (CDI) to which are added 100 work-study positions. “The information technology market is not experiencing the crisis, especially since in Toulouse we also benefit from the strong traction of aeronautics and space” explains Anthony Bernère, director of the Toulouse site. Business needs are reflected in numerous projects in the cloud but also generative artificial intelligence. “We are in great demand on AI in order to imagine use cases. It is exciting ! » adds the manager.

Experienced profiles and beginners welcome

More broadly, recruitment will concern the fields of activity of engineering, software development, consulting (as for AI), cybersecurity which is still growing strongly, outsourcing of large infrastructures, etc. Capgemini is looking for profiles of project managers capable of managing a project from start to finish as well as candidates with knowledge of the aeronautics and space sectors which “remains the heart of the activity”. And he adds: “all profiles are welcome: both experienced and those with first professional experience,” he adds, noting that 60 to 70% of current interns will ultimately be recruited.

Diversity and 70% teleworking

Above all, Capgemini wants to be a “very welcoming” company. The share of women, who currently represent 32% of the workforce, must reach 40% in the coming years. The technology company has also joined forces with “L’Autre Cercle” in order to promote diversity and inclusion of LGBT+ talents. The profiles sought are rather Bac + 5 but “what counts in my eyes is above all having the desire” adds the Toulouse director.

In terms of teleworking, a company agreement allows you to work up to 70% of the time remotely. A flexibility which also allows Toulouse teams to work on projects located in , and even internationally (India, Morocco, etc.). The Pink is a stronghold for Capgemini, which already employs 7,000 employees on eight different sites.
